Greece and the Inevitable Consequences of Socialistic Policies

February 12th, 2012 · No Comments

When you treat adults like infants who can’t wipe their own butts, you shouldn’t be surprised if they have tantrums when you stop wiping their butts for them.

The Telegraph reports that Greek protestors greet bailout vote with fire-bombs:

Fire-bombs and tear gas greeted negotiations at Greek Parliament on Sunday over the contraversial loan and austerity package to avoid the country facing financial meltdown and being thrown out of the euro-zone.

More than 45,000 protestors, many facing steep cuts in pensions, wages and a bigger fall in living standards besieged the building in two demonstrations. A minority were met with tear gas by the 4,000 policemen after throwing fire bombs.

Giving people what they haven’t earned is not only bad for you, it’s also bad for them. It teaches them that they are helpless and that they can only survive with the help of others. And once they think that, you can’t stop giving them what they need because if you do they might slit your helpful throat.
