The Treasury Department has issued it’s 2009-2010 Priority Guidance Plan which lists the major projects for which it seeks public input.

Here’s an exerpt from the preamble:

The… plan contains 315 projects to be completed over a twelve-month period, from July 2009 through June 2010. This year’s plan will address a variety of issues, including recent legislation, the current economic environment, and important international issues.

The published guidance process can be fully successful only if we have the benefit of the insight and experience of taxpayers and practitioners who must apply the rules. Therefore, we invite the public to continue to provide us with their comments and suggestions as we write guidance throughout the plan year.
