If this story from USA Today doesn’t illustrate why the world would be a better place if some of it’s human inabitants had their tubes tied, nothing will:
Lured by promises of chewing gum and raped in a shed by four boys barely older than her, an 8-year-old Liberian girl is now in foster care and living with strangers instead of the family that raised her and brought her to America.
Police say the girl’s father told a police officer and a Child Protective Services worker that he doesn’t want her anymore.
Right now this poor little girl needs the love of her family more than anything else in the world, but instead they rape her a second time.
But hey, let’s look at the bright side.
At least this father didn’t bury his dishonorable raped daughter alive.
Here’s George Washington Law School Professor Jonathan Turley on the scourge of honor killings:
Saira Nusrat Bibi has become the latest victim in the barbaric cycle of arranged marriages and honor killings in Pakistan and other Middle Eastern countries.
Forced into a marriage at age nine to a 45-year-old man, she had taken the extraordinary step to fighting for an annulment. She was winning in that effort, but (now 17) was denounced by many in the country as an heretic against Islam.
Her parents have now killed her in the latest honor killing.
The death of Saira Nusrat Bibi followed the burying alive of as many as five women who asserted their right to marry men of their own choosing in Baluchistan, Pakistan — an act defended by legislators as an honored tradition.
It also follows a case of a father burying alive his daughter in Palestine, here
Dogs and cats don’t do this to their own offspring and we spay and neuter them!
