Bird Flippers More Likely to Cheat on Taxes

Little Promoter of Fraudulent Offshore Tax Schemes

Hides Money in Lichtenstein

Check out this cool article about who amongst us is more likely to cheat on his taxes at Seven Profiles of Tax Cheats.  Ya gotta love this one:

Show Me The Finger – People who love to show their middle finger or gesticulate rudely while driving are likely to cheat. It’s because they feel offended by other people and society at large, and resort to getting even through such ways.

Come to think of it, the guy in the red pickup truck I didn’t let merge onto I-95 yesterday?

Big time tax cheat!

When interviewing prospective new clients perhaps tax preparers should ask, “What would you do if someone cut you off on the highway” as a way to weed out possible problem clients.

Oh where has civility gone? Finger flippers rank right up there with people that hang up the phone on others, spit on the sidewalk and don’t slow down at crosswalks (just a short list of social violations seen daily, I am afraid). These are angry people that feel the rules of society do not apply to them. Perhaps it is time to add to the next president’s cabinet, a Secretary of Social Graces. Having manners and not being afraid to use them never hurt anyone and may just help the IRS bring in taxes that should be rightfully paid.
